About Us

Our Turf Farm consists of 475 acres in one contiguous block dedicated to the production of high quality turf grasses.
	Notice the rich, black, mineral-organic soils from which we harvest our sod. This sod, due to the moisture retention properties of this soil type, stresses less after lifting than sod grown on lighter soils.
We harvest 18" X 36" slabs, 18" X 72" mini-rolls, or 42" X 80' Large rolls. Harvester shown in this picture is lifting 18" X 36" slabs in September 2001.

	Looking to the east, this picture shows 1/2 of the 2000 feet lateral irrigation system used to irrigate our farm. Water is supplied by three, ten inch wells, pumping 2200 gallons of water per minute from the Yorktown Aquifer.
